Staff Training
Dhek Bhal has organised training for staff who wish to qualify as Domiciliary Care Workers.
.The training modules meet the essential requirement of Care Quality Commission
(CQC), Common Induction Standards.
Training course dates are:
•Clinical Skills – 15 December 2011
•Manual Handling – Thursday 12 January 2012
•Stroke Awareness – Wednesday 1 February 2012
•Parkinson's Disease – Wednesday 4 April 2012
First Aid Training - Thursday 12 April 2012
•Safeguarding Adults Alerter – Thursday 19 April 2012

Carers Pampering Day on Tuesday 14 June 2011
All 39 carers who came to the event enjoyed themselves and participated in all the activities organised by Dhek Bhal. This was a joint event for South Gloucestershire and Bristol carers, funded by both the councils. [More]

Brighton Holiday a Great Success
26 older people benefited from a 5 day holiday to Brighton in May 2011. It was much enjoyed by all. [More]
